I asked to have my A/C checked and confirmed they would perform a courtesy check on system. Was told I needed to have a bunch of other things done to car and then charged $80 (with an environmental charge?) for them to tell me the A/C needed work, even though I already knew this. Nothing got fixed but I was out $80. Not going back after work was done to the car and charged for a service I didn't authorize.

Hello Scott, I'm sorry that you are disappointed with our inspection of your car. You knew that your a/c did not work, but did not know why. We told you we would check the system, and also perform a courtesy inspection on the rest of the car. The fee we charge is for the time spent to hook up our a/c machine and see if the system holds pressure and that the other components are working as intended. In your case the system held pressure. However, the line from evaporator to condenser had a leak. I gave you a quote for the repair. We don't think it would be right to service the system, and charge you for the service knowing it would fail again in a short time. The courtesy check we perform is for checking fluids, belts, hoses, air pressures, and basic maintenance items. The courtesy check is free. Your car is in very good condition, as we only recommended two items due to age. Thank you for your review! It will help us in the future to better communicate with our clients. Bret

I brought in my car after it had overheated and leaked all the coolant out. I was not even sure if the engine might be damaged after this. Brett was very helpful and after I towed it there, they were able to get my car in that same day. They were honest, reasonably priced, and revived my old car to life again. I definitely will go back for service if needed

Called two other places to see if they could get me in for a brake job and they were both 2+ weeks out. Evergreen was able to get me in same day at an extremely fair price! Turns out that my back brakes also needed replacing so they conveniently scheduled that and took care of it as well. Strongly recommend Evergreen Autoworks and their guys!

Great help with my diagnosis at a reasonable price. They were really honest about what I needed to get done and didn’t try to push me to get more work done then needed. Had an oil leak and they were kind enough to suggest to not invest in the car because it wasn’t worth it. Wish they had rentals you could use while ur car was being worked on, but they didn’t have any at that time and it was my only car so made life a lil difficult.

Hello Paul, Happy we could help! Thank you for the kind review! Bret

They steal stuff out of your car. I put my cash in the glovebox before they fixed the oil. Once I got my car back it wasn’t in there. We’re not mad just we won’t go back and my word of mouth for this place will be not so good. Don’t bother replying to this comment Evergreen ‘owner’. Adios

I went to a car wash last week and the machine damaged my side mirror. It was very minor damage, only the glass broke off. I contacted a local parts store to see if they had the glass in stock and was told the glass is not in stock but they could order it for between 30-50 depending on if it was for a power/heated mirror. I then contacted evergreen to see if they would be able to assist with getting the repair done. They called me back and informed me with labor and tax I would be looking at over $400. I mentioned to Brett, the man on the phone, that autozone had this part for a fraction of the cost, i would only need to order it and turn around time was less than a week. Why would be charge me so much. He stated his vendors have it at this cost and and if I wanted to buy it at autozone, I could go ahead and proceed. This response just did not sit right with me at all. It's just the glass that is missing, I don't need an entirely new mirror. I felt uncomfortable with the "quote" from evergreen and contacted another mechanic who is going to do the entire repair for $143 including labor.

Hello Abbegail, I believe I miss communicated the information that I had for you. Sorry for the confusion. You called looking for replacement glass for your Jeep. My sources did not show the option of aftermarket glass in stock. I had you give me you VIN number in a attempt to source the glass from Jeep. I gave you the price for the glass from Jeep. You told me that Autozone could sell you aftermarket glass for between $30 to $50. I stated that would also be my cost for the glass. This is where I miss communicated with you. I said you could pick up the glass and I would install it for you. I believe I came across that I was telling you to deal with it yourself. The message I wanted to deliver was, buy the glass and bring it in and I would install it for you. Your cost for me to install it would be $67.50. My apologies for the miss communication. Thank you for for the review! This will help me in the future to make sure that I am more concise when giving information to my clients. Bret
