$170 diagnosis for a Subaru that jumped timing and likely needed a new engine. A shop in the same parking lot found that it just needed a new EGR valve! The best thing this shop did for me was push my car to a different shop that gave me the correct diagnosis. update: Shop reached out to me to apologize and make up for their misdiagnosis. I am certain that this was an honest mistake and thrilled the shop was willing to work with me on this bill.

These guys have no idea how to diagnose issues and will try to sell you on unnecessary repairs! I brought my truck in after I personally read the code. I told them what was wrong/what I needed looked at. They proceeded to call me the following morning without asking about the vehicle history, to tell me my engine was completely bad, even though I drove it in.... Then they call me back to finally ask about my vehicle history, and tell me I need new tires as if that was what set the check engine light off. At this point I told them to stop working on my truck, I'll take it to my previous mechanic. They never diagnosed what was wrong, tried to sell me tires as well as a new engine I didn't need, and still charged me almost $200 for an 'uuuuh I don't know dude'.

I'm really sorry to have let you down . We strive to provide the best possible customer service through thorough diagnosis and communication of issues with each customer’s vehicle. One of the most important parts of my job is communication between both my customers and technicians and from your review, I've let you down in that regard. The tires on your vehicle were only mentioned as part of your courtesy inspection due to the fact that they are beyond the safe age limit in the state of Washington. We do not sell tires. The technician did spend three hours attempting to diagnose your vehicles issue of which we only charged you for one. I'm more than happy to refund you that hours worth of labor. Please give us a call for a refund.
